Overall it was a great ending to the greatest super hero film trilogy of all time!
*Bane was very well done and comes off as physically intimidating. He actually poses a real threat to Batman and has brawn to match brains
*Overall story is really well done with an ending that will BLOW YOUR FREAKING MIND! Wraps up the trilogy very VERY well.
*Anne Hathaway as Catwoman is the best live action portrayal of Catwoman I’ve EVER SEEN and she nearly steals the film. Totally erases the craptastic Batman Retruns Catwoman out of my memory.
*Draws a lot of its feeling from Batman Begins rather than The Dark Knight which is good or bad for some people but I think its great.
*You really get a feel for Bruce Wayne as a character and the human element entertains just as much as the Batman parts.
*The beginning focuses a lot on Bruce Wayne being secluded from the world so Batman doesn’t come in for quite a while.
*The pace seems to move a little fast at times, but nothing terrible. Just makes me wish for some slower moments so I can look back and be like “Yeah this movie rocks hard”
*While Bane is great he isn’t as compelling as the Joker, which I hate comparing him to because I know EVERYONE is going to be like “Well he was no Joker because HEATH LEDGER IS GOD BLABBHLABLABLALHLBALHHLALHB!!!!!11!!” He holds his own and is GREAT, but just isn’t as compelling.
Overall the pros far outweigh the cons and the film is fantastic! Just as good as The Dark Knight and with an awesome Batman Begins feel that I think everyone is going to love! GO SEE IT! NOOOOOOOOOW!!!!
So cool when notable people come out and say they’re pony fans. You might know mc chris as the voice of MC Pee Pants from Aqua Teen Hunger Force but he does a lot of really funny rap and music. He’s really great and this is an awesome song that has a good meaning!
Spoilers! Do not read if you have not finished ME3 or wish to avoid spoilers for the ending.
Alright. I’ve been toying with the idea of the Indoctrination theory for the ending of Mass Effect 3 that has been floating around the internet. And I have discussed many points with my housemate, who has also studied literature extensively. She knows how invested I am in the story, and has given me a seed of hope that has blossomed into a razor-sharp flower of abject disbelief. She has also been researching this purely to ease my troubled mind, because living with me when I am in the throes of anguish or the grips of rage is pure hell.
And I can safely say that this is either the most dick move that Bioware could have pulled, or pure. Fucking. Genius.
So, yes. I have been won over to the indoctrination theory, and I’ll share with you some of the reasons why.
I’m not one of those “RAHRHAGHRGAGHGRAHGRGHAGRAHGRHGAH BURNINHELLGEORGELUCAS AHRGAHGRHAGGRGHAHRG” types, I just really love Star Wars and I gotta say that Episode I holds up really well 13 years later.
3D didn’t add much other than make the pod race and end battle look cooler, but hopefully they’ll bring the rest of the saga to theatres again. Empire would be EPIC in 3D.
